Is there a fee for shipping and/or insurance?

We offer free insured shipping for all orders of $199 or more. Want to order less than $199? No problem; just $7.99 will be added to your order.

Need it fast? For certain orders, we offer the ability to expedite your shipment to overnight delivery service for a small additional fee.


Are shipments from Monument Metals insured?

Yes. Every package we send is covered in full by our private insurance policy.


How will my package be shipped?

Most of our orders are shipped via the U.S. Postal Service. We may also use Fedex or UPS depending on order size ($ amount and physical size/weight) and insurance factors. Regardless of shipping method, all items are shipped in a secure, non-descript and discrete manner for your security and ours.


When will my order ship?

Except for pre-orders, orders generally ship within one (1) business day of receiving cleared funds. However, our policy is that all orders will ship no later than 2-3 business days of receiving cleared funds, unless otherwise noted on a listing. Please review our payment policy to see how your payment method effects how quickly your funds are considered cleared. 


What are pre-order items and when will they ship?

We allow customers to lock in pricing on items that we have on order and/or in transit to us. These items are marked “Pre-Order” with a projected shipping date. If you order contains a pre-order item, the entire shipment may be held until all items ordered are present and on-hand.


Where will my order ship from?

For security reasons and to better serve you, Monument Metals maintains inventory in multiple locations across the U.S. In order to fulfill your order as quickly as possible, we may decide to ship your order from one of our secure depository locations in Texas, California, Oklahoma, Delaware or Maryland.


How will I know my order has shipped?

You will be contacted with up to date tracking information by email when your package(s) ships.


Will I have to sign for my order when it arrives?

All shipments of $1,000 or more include signature confirmation and will require a signature for delivery.


Do you ship internationally?

Yes, for select orders over $1,000. If you are interested in placing an order for international shipment, please call us at or email us for a custom quote.


What happens if my order is lost or damaged in transit?

In the extremely rare occurence that your shipment has not arrived and is considered lost, please contact us immediately so that we may begin the claims process. If your shipment is not recovered, your shipment is fully insured and you will receive a full reimbursement of the loss according to the specific shipper's insurance policy.  If there is an issue with your order such as missing or damaged coins/bars, you must contact us within 3 business days of the receipt of your shipment. Please retain your packing slip as it has necessary information for verification purposes.
